Privacy and contact
Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no ads, no tracking. A game room keeps the name you type and your answers, and deletes itself a few hours after the game ends.
What a game stores
- In the room, on the server: the name and avatar you choose, your answers and bets, and the score. Nothing else about you. A room deletes itself 3 hours after the last move.
- On your own phone (browser storage, not cookies): your name, avatar and language, so you don't have to pick them again, and a random code that puts you back in your seat if your connection drops. You can delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Hosting
Know It runs on Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare sees your IP address when your phone connects, and keeps technical logs for a few days to deliver the site and stop abuse. Visitor counts, if any, come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
What Know It doesn't do
- No accounts, logins or email addresses.
- No advertising and no advertising trackers. If that ever changes, this page will say so first, and you'll be asked before anything is stored.
- Nothing is sold or shared.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what is stored about you and have it deleted. In practice the game can't link anything to you after the fact, and rooms delete themselves anyway, but write if you have a question.
